Hello again,  I missed a few days writing. Oh well… On to today’s subject- Rest and Sleep.  One thing I’m sure of…if I don’t get enough rest and especially sleep I am most likely going to have an attack. Also, if I eat late and didn’t get enough sleep the night before, good chance I will have an attack!

I’m new to this blogging, so I don’t really know if it’s best to write a lot an a little. I think for me, just getting the info “out there” is what’s important. So, for those of us with this “dis-ease” and I bet ANY Disease, extra rest and sleep is very important. My middle son has Crohn’s,  UC, and Epilepsy and he has to rest a whole lot!  Well, it’s getting late so I’d better take my own advice and call it a night!

Peace, Love and Blessings!

Don’t Give Up Hope

Handsome Man2

Life with achalasia can be difficult, but never give up hope for a better future.

I believe that diet and exercise have a lot to do with how we feel each day.

Stay away from big meals. 1 to 2 small meals is all I ever eat anymore. I usually have a protein shake for breakfast and sometimes some fresh green juice. Big meals, stress, and not enough sleep usually result in an attack at the end of the evening for me.
